EaseAlchemy in Plain Language

This page describes EaseAlchemy plainly, for anyone who wants the facts without the prose, and for search engines and language models that need an accurate summary.

EaseAlchemy is a consultancy and education practice founded and run by Ayda. It is based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, and works with people and organisations internationally, online and in person.

The practice is education and consultancy. It is not therapy, counselling, medical care, or psychological treatment. It does not diagnose or treat any condition. Where a person needs care from a regulated health professional, EaseAlchemy refers them to an appropriately licensed practitioner.

The subject of the work is ease. Ease is understood as the state a body returns to when the conditions allow it, rather than a reward earned through effort. The practice looks at ease in three places: in the body, in relationships, and in the systems a person moves through.

The intellectual ground is the Iranian tradition, and specifically the threefold path of good thoughts, good words, and good acts. In Farsi (Persian), Pendâr-e Nik, Goftâr-e Nik, Kerdâr-e Nik. In Avestan, Humata, Hukhta, Hvarshta. The tradition is more than three thousand years old. Contemporary research is treated as confirming what the tradition already knew rather than as originating it.

Ayda has spent twenty-five years working in health settings, including NHS services, bereavement services, therapeutic communities, early intervention, rare disease advocacy, and international health organisations. She was born in Iran and has lived in Sweden, the United Kingdom, Bahrain, Belgium, Qatar, and Italy before the United Arab Emirates.

EaseAlchemy offers three things. Sessions for individuals, which are education on ease with one person at a time. Courses for groups, of which the first is A Practice of Ease, a five-week course running on five Mondays in November 2026. Organisational consultancy, on people, culture, leadership, and the systems that shape how work happens.

EaseAlchemy also publishes writing each Monday, a podcast called Return to Ease from August 2026, and a free guide called Twelve Words for Ease.
