EaseAlchemy is based in the United Arab Emirates. This privacy policy explains how I collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you use this website (easealchemy.com), subscribe to communications, or download a resource.
Privacy matters to me. I collect only what is needed, I do not sell your information, and I am transparent about how it is used.
Who is responsible for your data

What information I collect
When you visit this website, subscribe to a newsletter, download a resource, or complete the contact form, I may collect:
Your name and email address, when you subscribe to receive content or download a resource such as Twelve Words for Ease.
Your name, email address, and any information you choose to include, when you use the contact form or write to me directly.
Technical information such as IP address, browser type, device type, and pages visited, collected automatically through cookies and similar technologies, as set out in the Cookie Policy.
Why I collect this information
Personal information is collected to respond to enquiries, to send the Substack publication where you have subscribed, to deliver a downloaded resource, and to meet legal and regulatory obligations.
EaseAlchemy does not use your information for automated decision-making, profiling, or advertising. Your information is not sold, rented, or shared for third parties' marketing purposes.
Third-party services
This website and EaseAlchemy's communications rely on a small number of third-party services that may process your data on EaseAlchemy's behalf: Wix, for website hosting and contact forms; Substack, for newsletter and email communications; Proton, for email communications; and Google Analytics, for website analytics where enabled.
Each of these services has its own privacy policy and data processing practices.
How long I keep your information
Newsletter subscriber information is held for as long as you remain subscribed. You can unsubscribe at any time. Contact form submissions are held for up to twelve months after the enquiry is resolved, then deleted. Website analytics data is retained in anonymised or aggregated form.
Your rights
Under applicable United Arab Emirates data protection law, you have the right to access, to ask what information is held about you and to receive a copy; to rectification, to ask for inaccurate information to be corrected; to erasure, to ask for your information to be deleted, subject to any legal obligation to retain it; to restriction, to ask for the processing of your information to be limited; to object to processing based on legitimate interests; and to withdraw consent, where consent is the basis of processing.

Children's privacy
This website is directed at adults aged eighteen and over. EaseAlchemy does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Security
Reasonable measures are taken to protect personal information from unauthorised access, loss, or misuse, including encrypted devices, secure connections on this website, and reputable third-party services with strong security practices. No system is entirely without risk.
